Enabel remains more than ever mobilised to support the actions of the Government of Benin in its response to COVID19.

From the very beginning of the crisis, Enabel helped the Ministry of Health to set up a call centre allowing the population to ask questions and obtain information about the coronavirus. This call centre is open 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. It responds to the various concerns of the populations, in the following widely spoken languages in Benin: French, English, Fon, Yoruba, Bariba and Dendi. languages.

Enabel also provided 2 fully medicalised ambulances. They are equipped with an oxygen cylinder, respiratory machine and the necessary equipment for stabilisation and transport of patients. They will be used in the province of Aquatique, in the south of the country.

Together with the Beninese authorities and its main donors in the health sector, we are analysing how other current and future actions can be adapted to the most urgent local needs.
