How to live well beyond growth and development?
Global development fails to deliver decent living for all within planetary boundaries. What would it take to move beyond economic growth and dominant visions of sustainable development? What does postgrowth have to offer in terms of international cooperation and equal trade relationships?
Prof. dr. Jonas Van der Slycken will address these questions during our next edition of the #EnabelTalks: “How to live well beyond growth and development.”
About the speaker
Jonas Van der Slycken is an economist, writer and visiting professor at Ghent University and Vrije Universiteit Brussel, where he teaches courses on economic transitions and regenerative welfare systems. Jonas is the author of “Genoeg voor Iedereen” (Enough for Everyone) and is currently writing a book about how local lotteries can help change the fate of our societies.
