To respond effectively to the challenges of sustainable development, Enabel integrates five essential cross-cutting themes into all of its actions.
These priorities – gender and inclusion, decent work, youth empowerment, digital transition, and the environment – strengthen the impact of our actions across all sectors. They ensure that each project contributes to more equitable, sustainable, and innovative international cooperation, for the benefit of populations and partner institutions.
Our development efforts will be worthwhile only if we step up the fight for equality between women and men.

Digitalisation
With its BeGlobal programme, Enabel has more than twenty years of experience in global citizenship education in Belgium. The three main axes of activity, all of which aim to sustainably embed the approach in education in Belgium, are: policy dialogue, the strengthening and innovation of teaching practices and the deployment of a centre of expertise aiming at sharing, producing and disseminating knowledge.
