Enabel’s Sustainability, environmental and social management framework
This document presents Enabel’s sustainability framework as well as its environmental and social management system.
This framework constitutes the organisation’s operational reference for identifying, analysing, managing and monitoring the environmental and social risks and impacts related to its activities. It applies to the entire project cycle and is based on a risk-proportionate approach, in compliance with national regulations and international standards applicable to development projects.
It aims to ensure consistent, traceable and responsible management of environmental and social issues, while strengthening transparency and accountability towards partners, donors and stakeholders.
