This contract concerns a public works project under the “Be-Relief Ukraine” program implemented by Enabel on behalf of the Belgian Federal State. The tender covers capital and current repair, renovation, and reconstruction works for medical and educational facilities located in Kyiv and the Kyiv region. The project aims to improve safety, functionality, regulatory compliance, energy efficiency, and sustainability, while providing modern, accessible, and durable infrastructure to support healthcare and education services.
The tender includes Five (5) lots, each with specific works aimed at improving and ensuring the safe and functional operation of medical and educational facilities. A brief description of the scope of works for each lot is provided below:
Lot 1 – Renovation of 5th floor, rehabilitation dept., Kyiv Clinical Hospital No. 8: The scope of work includes a full capital renovation of the rehabilitation department, comprising dismantling outdated structures, installing new gypsum board partitions, finishing floors, walls, and ceilings for repeated sanitary treatment, and integrating engineering systems. Heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems will be reconstructed, with new electrical networks, lighting, and low-current communication and signaling systems installed. Sanitary zones, airlocks, approved materials, and fire safety will be ensured. The renovation will provide modern conditions for rehabilitation processes without affecting the building’s external structures and façade.
Lot 2 – Current repair of the premises on the first floor of the State Institution “Institute of Traumatology and Orthopaedics of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine” in Kyiv: This lot covers current repair works on the first floor of the Institute. The project is organized into three stages: first, the current repair of auxiliary premises for relocation of the Medical 3D Printing Laboratory; second, the repair, arrangement, and equipment of the Rehabilitation Department premises to create an Educational Hub; and third, repair of the entrance area to ensure barrier-free access. The works aim to provide functional, safe, and modern premises suitable for both medical and educational purposes.
Lot 3 – Major repair works of the roofing for the Brovary vocational lyceum with the installation of a solar power plant: The scope of work includes capital repair of the roof and installation of a solar power plant. Roof works involve repairing the roof covering, replacing rainwater outlets, ventilation deflectors, and window blocks. In addition, a solar power plant will be installed, connected, and commissioned to supply electricity to the college’s educational building, contributing to energy efficiency and sustainability.
Lot 4 – Construction works on facade and roof insulation for Bilotserkiv Higher Vocational School of Construction and Service: This lot covers the capital repair of the school’s façade and roof. The works include installation of a ventilated façade, roof insulation, and partial replacement of existing ventilation equipment on the rear façade, all in accordance with the approved design and cost estimate documentation. The project aims to improve building performance, energy efficiency, and overall durability.
Lot 5 – Reconstruction of the kitchen and canteen of Sosnytsia Lyceum named after O. P. Dovzhenko of the Sosnytsia Settlement Council: The works under this lot involve reconstruction of the kitchen and canteen to bring the facilities into compliance with regulatory requirements. The project includes changes to the premises layout, renovation of interior finishes, repair of the ventilation and heating systems, and repair of water supply and sewerage systems. The renovation ensures safe, functional, and hygienic conditions suitable for food preparation and service.
