In 2013, Uganda launched an ambitious 30-year plan aimed at transforming the country into a modern and prosperous middle-income country.

‘Vision 2040’ prioritises in investing in sectors of huge potential such as tourism and ICT. The harnessing of human potential through skills development to produce qualified employees for the labour market is also an important factor of the strategy.
