Enabel is increasingly working in countries with unstable political and economic frameworks, as well as in regions threatened by all kinds of groups. This gives rise to increased safety and security risks for our employees.
Enabel has a duty to ensure the safety and security of staff and their families abroad. This is central to ensuring the continuity of our operations and the success of our mission.
We take preventive and risk-avoidance measures. These depend on the potential dangers in the country of the assignment and project region. They include security training and regular risk analyses and assessments. In high-risk countries there are full-time security advisors and round-the-clock security watches.
Enabel has professional crisis management procedures to deal with any crises that may arise.
