Body & Rights – E-tutorial on sexual and reproductive health and rights

body & rights tutoriel

“Body & Rights” is a free e-tutorial on sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR).

This initiative was taken by the SRHR work group of Be-Cause Health, in which BTC has actively participated the past year along with DGD, the Institute of Tropical Medicine, the ICRH/UGent and Sensoa. The latter developed the e-tutorial, which has been updated in 2021

Through short modules with videos, multiple choice questions and fact sheets (new) you get an introduction to various topics such as safe motherhood, HIV, STIs, family planning, abortion, sexual violence, child marriage, female genital mutilation, and the rights of adolescents and sexual minorities. Signpost pages (new) allow to quickly find relevant conventions, strategy papers, databases and concrete guidelines per theme. In four video interviews (new) diplomats Hannelore Delcour and Dirk Brems, Enabel SRHR expert Marleen Bosmans and Memisa project manager Anna Salvati testify about their experiences in partner countries. The certificate that can be obtained is recognised by the Belgian Development Cooperation.

The e-tutorial is available in French, Dutch and English. You can access the tutorial after registering with your e-mail address
