Strategic Evaluation in the field of TVET & Employment

The results of this evaluation were presented on Wednesday 21 December to our external networks (SES, DGD, APEFE, via Don Bosco, Educaidbe, ETM, AUF, E-duForm, …).

Recommendations on the effectiveness, relevance, sustainability, equality (gender, inclusion), digitalisation and quality of our monitoring systems were presented and widely discussed.

The learnings we can take home are :

  • A strong encouragement to apply the TVET model for employment more assertively,
  • to understand and support the needs of the private sector,
  • Actively building capacity to achieve Enabel’s ambitions on gender mainstreaming and digitalisation,
  • making better use of the data generated and prioritising qualitative approaches are some of the lessons learned.
