Belgium and DR Congo continue their bilateral cooperation

A new bilateral programme will be implemented from 2023 to 2027. The aim is to contribute to the elimination of systemic inequalities. Too many people still live below the poverty line. In close collaboration with our Congolese partners, we intend to remedy this.

We will work around four main themes:

  1. Developing the potential of Congolese youth
  2. Access to high-quality social services
  3. Food security and sustainable agriculture
  4. Inclusive governance

The new projects will be implemented in the provinces of South Ubangi, Tshopo, South Kivu, Haut-Katanga, Lualaba, Eastern Kasaï, Lomami and Kinshasa.
